Who Am I?

So who is this chick named Caitlin Eha?

First and foremost, I’m one of God’s kids. I’ve been a Christian since I was six years old and my entire reason for living is to know God, to be known by Him, and to make Him known to others. That doesn’t mean the Christian life is always easy, that I don’t stumble, or that I have everything figured out. But I’m growing, and I know God’s got me. For more of my thoughts and reflections on our awesome God, check out the “My King, My God” section of this blog.

I’m also a writer – and an author, thanks to recently having a research essay of mine published in Volume 13 of the journal Young Scholars in Writing (you can find a free PDF of this article online, if you’re interested. It involves J.R.R. Tolkien – just saying).

I’ve dreamed of being a full-time author since I was a kid, and this blog is partly an attempt to share my successes and not-so-successes in the writing life with you (check out the “Writing Bits and Tips” section for more). I hope that soon my publication list will be a lot longer, but no matter what, I just plain love to read and write. I grew up on The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings, among many others, and my imagination has never recovered (thank God). Epic fantasy and fairy-tale are my favorite genres to write, but sci-fi, memoir, literary fiction, and even poetry are still within my realm.

I’ve also started writing on the website Wattpad. If you make a free account there, you can read some original stories I’m working on. I’d love for you to check those out; Wattpad is fun and really interactive for writers and readers. You can find me there @authorcaitlineha.

I’m also very artistic in mediums besides pen and paper. I like to cosplay (I know, it sounds a little silly until you actually take on the challenge of creating a costume from scratch), do calligraphy, make handmade jewelry, and so on – basically, whatever craft I find that catches my fancy. You can find out more about my cosplaying and crafting by using the appropriate menu links.

Well I think that’s enough about me. I hope you enjoy this blog and my written works. Thanks for visiting and reading! I hope you’ll stop by often.
